Troia Golf opened in 1980, and is one of Portugal's most beautiful golf courses. It enjoys a most privileged location - the unique Tróia peninsula, between the Atlantic Ocean and the River Sado Estuary, with breathtaking views over the imposing Arrábida Mountain. The renowned North-American golf architect Robert Trent Jones Sr., designed the course and, with his usual magisterial skill and interpretation, took the tradition of links to new heights.

Troia Golf is a fascinating 18-hole golf course, a 6,320 metre-long Par 72, which weaves its way among pine trees and sand dunes, using natural elements as its way among pine trees and sand dunes, using natural elements and its main obstacles. The white sand is ever present, not only in bunkers but also in most rough areas, which are surrounded by luxuriant vegetation.

Robert Trent Jones Sr. regards Troia Golf as one of his best courses, and the third hole, which borders the beach, one of the best Par 4 he ever created, out of the more than 500 courses he designed throughout the world. Troia Golf is blessed with one of the best layouts a Golfer can hope to find, offering a real challenge to any Golf lover.

Troia Golf boasts an excellent Club House, offering a wide range of services: Reception, Pro-shop, Bar, a Restaurant with a panoramic veranda, as well as a driving range and two putting greens.
